Shafts for the drilled water wells
The shafts of the wells are used to terminate the bore of the drilled well and to store the pumping equipment.
The plastic shafts for the drilled water wells do not need maintenance, one of its big advantages is an easy installation. A correct installation guarantees its long lifetime period.
Hydrometric shafts are made in several designs:
- by moulding and welding extruded polypropylene plates
- by moulding polypropylene plates and insulating them with a polyurethane foam
- from a 400 – 500 mm wide corrugated pipe and its insulation
SVS
The best selling universal and durable shaft, also suitable for areas with the occurence of groundwater if properly installed. Even though its internal brightness is only 960 mm, it is possible to place a smaller pressure vessel inside and perform a basic installation for a residential house.
Material: polypropylene of 6 mm (shell) and of 10 - 15 mm (ceiling and the bottom).
Possible diameters of the passages: 110, 125, 140, 160, 200
( 250, 300, 350, 400 ).
SVSO
A larger shaft suitable for placing a larger pressure vessel and the wiring for better handling. For greater comfort the shaft can be supplied with an inlet chimney of 800 mm diameter. The shaft is self-supporting; if properly installed, it is also suitable for areas with groundwater.
Material: polypropylene of 6 – 8 mm (shell) and of 10 mm (ceiling and the bottom).
Possible diameters of the passages: 110, 125, 140, 160, 200,
( 250, 300, 350, 400 )
SVSP
A very practical and cost-effective thermally insulated hydrometric shaft based on the Earth’s heat’s activity. It is suitable for all places where the technology demands are transferred into a certain room in a residential house. The shaft is also suitable for areas with groundwater. The shaft is either thermally insulated by an EPS 100 S polystyrene or supplied in a non-thermal version. Both types have a top polystyrene insulation under the cover.
Material: A SN 8 PP corrugated pipe of 400 mm is insulated from the top and the side with an EPS 100 S polystyrene or it is not insulated at all.
Possible diameter of the passages: 110, 125, 140, 160, 200, 250

All shafts are self-supporting. They are set in a green belt outside the communication route.
If properly installed, they can also be used within a communication route and in areas with groundwater.
Shaft installation without the occurence of groundwater
- the shaft is set on a matured bearing plate previously freed of all impurities or on the thickened sandy subsoil
- the bottom of the shaft includes a passage with a rubber blade through which the borehole sheath moves towards the shaft and the direction of the shaft outlet is secured
- the shaft is evenly loaded with a fine-grained soil or sand over the entire circumference up to the height of, approximately, 5 cm from the top edge of the inlet chimney
- after the ground clearance, there is a need to allow a safe access to the shaft while providing a space around it to prevent the unauthorized access to the shaft
