Plastic pumping shafts are an economic substitute for concrete shafts. They represent an important part of waste water treatment plants and sewerage system and serve to overcome height differences. This type of shafts works with very variable flow rate and pump chemically, biologically and mechanically polluted water, as well as an over gassed water.
They cannot be used for pumping flammable liquids of I. – II. Class.
Pumps are supplied without any technological equipment (tank, cover) or with technological equipment (one or two pumps, pump anchoring, triggering device, pipe lines, float switches, check valves, shut-off valves, switchgear).
They are made of polypropylene in different sizes, depending on the amount of water pumped. The top of the shaft is covered either by a plastic trafficable cover or by a cast-iron cover on a reinforced concrete distribution plate.
